...well, it wasn't a call, just an Email.
I sent appliacations to 3 different universities, one was "just for fun" cause my grades aren't good enough for them.
But the other ones where serious. First one and my favourite is the nearest one, my boyfriend studies there, too, and i can get there easily by bus and train.
The second one is the one where i would love to study if there wasn't the distance. in best case i had to move there but it's nearly impossible getting a flat there, the city is known as "Studentenstadt", "City of Students".
BUT....i got an positive reply *____________* Yesterday. So i'll wait a few days until the other one replies.
I mean..i have good chances. my average/nc is 1,5. On both universitys the NC is at 2,6. Easy going. But 'German Bürokratie' (i love this phrase since i heard some british neighbors using it ;D) kills my euphoria *sigh*
(*NC: i'm not sure how it works in the us or other states to get to university. In germany theres one way to qualify: get the best possible grades, which are count to an average. when you apply to a course on university on which this is the condition to be accepted, you have to have those grades in average-or better. the better your grade, the higher the chance to get accepted in round 1.)
